Abound Credit Union is now hiring friendly, enthusiastic, and just overall awesome personalities to provide essential operational and first-line supervisory support to collection efforts.
This is an in-office position. Candidates must be able to commute to our Fort Knox location during standard business hours.
What You’ll Do:
- Counselor Collection Process - Assigns accounts to Member Solution Counselors and monitors their workflow. This ensures that each counselor has a manageable workload and that tasks are distributed efficiently to meet the needs of our members. This also includes investigating methods to improve processes to enhance efficiency and performance.
- Member Solutions Quality Control - Reviews calls, analyzes trends and performance indicators, and implements necessary changes or corrective actions. This involves regularly assessing the quality of interactions between counselors and members, identifying areas for improvement, and making adjustments to enhance overall performance.
- Collections Performance - Strives to maximize the collection of overdue payments and overdrafts. This includes developing and implementing strategies to improve collection rates and reduce the incidence of overdue payments and overdrafts, thereby maintaining the financial health of the Credit Union
- Assists the department manager and director with various personnel issues, including managing time sheets and scheduling, tracking employee performance, preparing training and performance reviews, and conducting training for counselors. This support helps ensure that the team operates smoothly and that counselors are well-prepared and motivated.
- Maintains comprehensive, up-to-date knowledge of all Credit Union offerings and collections regulations. This includes staying informed about new products, services, and any changes to existing ones, ensuring accurate and current information is provided to members.

What We Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or progress toward completion or equivalent work experience
- Ability to set and achieve goals and objectives evidenced by a record of success in meeting assigned goals, objective, and positive cross-sales achievement.
- Ability to organize and motivate subordinates toward achieving established goals and objectives.
- Knowledge of/experience in Credit Union delinquency control/collections policies and procedures.
- Maintain a professional demeanor in all situations

Salary Info:
$60,117 - $75,746 / annually
